If you are on regular medication the doctor may give you a repeat prescription counterfoil which will enable you to obtain a prescription without being seen by the doctor each time.
If you don't have a counterfoil please fill in a request form provided on the reception desk or downloadable HERE. Please leave the counterfoil or form in the collection box, and allow 72 hours for collection of your prescription (after three full working days).
We are now offering online appointment booking and ordering repeat prescriptions with SystmOnline (via the link at the top of this page). To register for your username and password to access the new online prescription and online appointment booking system please bring a photo ID to reception.
If you post your counterfoil to us, you should allow one week for your request to be returned to you, please enclose a S.A.E.. You should request your repeat prescription well before your supply of drugs has run out. Patients who have not seen a doctor for some time may be asked to make an appointment before their next repeat prescription can be obtained. All local chemists offer a prescription pickup service. Please ask at reception for details.
Please request prescriptions in plenty of time, therefore allowing sufficient time in case appointments are required for Medical checks, Blood Pressure, Asthma /Diabetic Checks and Blood tests before your medication can be prescribed.
In exceptional circumstance we will issue urgent prescription requests, please speak to reception. Please allow time for this to be processed, and arrange to collect collection after 6pm that day.
